Well, the skin part first:
How can I lift an image off the surface of a canvas so it resembles a sheet of skin?
Well, I have worked out a method of doing that. Transparent, weight-less and ephemeral.
Started in Dublin with the O’Connell sculpture and then onto cemeteries. Angel sculptures that mediate between earth and the afterlife. Images that are captured then harvested using analogue/digital studio practice to transform.
Typically about A4 size, sometimes layered, sometimes not.
